Announcing our Single Sign On (SSO) service - Punchouts

We are often asked to provide an SSO service, we would like to share with you a little bit of information about what it is and how it works.

SSO (Single Sign-On) sometimes referred to as Punchout is a method by which a buyer can purchase products from a supplier’s website via the buyers own procurement application. The process usually involves the buyer clicking a link in their procurement application that takes them to the supplier’s website. Here they can browse a catalogue of products and add them to a basket. Upon checkout, the basket details are returned from the supplier’s website to the buyer’s procurement application thus generating a purchase order. The buyer can then follow their usual process to approve the purchase order.
